| If you like to ski and want solitude when not
on the slopes then we offer a charming fully equipped apartment
along the western side of Blue Knob Ski Resort, Claysburg, PA that
provides the opportunity to ski in and ski out (with natural snow)
or walk less than one block to the mid-station lift. This two bedroom (linens included) apartment sleeps six is uniquely appointed in support of the snow and activities that surrounds it. Relax in the large living room after your time on the trails with the gas fireplace provides soothing warmth as you reflect on the fun of the day’s activities. The large and fully equipped kitchen, including a bar, will support all your culinary and beverage preparations. The snow-tubing trails are within walking distance. We also offer access to swimming pools, saunas and hot tubs that are just ¼ mile through the woods. If you desire a little night-life, you can avail the services of the Clubhouse Bar and Grill that is just ¼ mile away. |

Blue Knob Ski Resort is on top of one of the highest peaks in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania and is the highest skiable mountain with an elevation of 3,152. Its vertical drop of 1,072 feet and varied slopes contains 34 trails to challenge the beginner, intermediate and advanced skier. These 34 trails located in 160 skiable acres are allocated as follows; 20% Beginners, 40% Intermediate and 40% Advanced. Almost all these 34 trails are equipped with snowmaking, and only a few rely on natural snow. |

| If you are a night skiing enthusiast, then you can enjoy until 10 PM each evening over 40 acres of well lit trails. | ||
| The resort also provides a Snowboard Park for snowboarders and a Snow Tubing Park for a change of pace. Those skiers so inclined will find groomed cross-country trails to test their skills and endurance. | ||
| We don’t close the apartment when the snow begins to melt normally in April because the Blue Knob Ski Resort offers a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools, volley ball courts, and mountain biking and hiking trails which take you through the wonderful pristine thick forests | ||
| The apartment is just on the northern side of Blue Knob State Park which offers 5614 acres of year-round wilderness recreation that includes campgrounds, picnic areas, with seven pavilions, hunting, cold water stream fishing and trails. Within 3 miles at the western park boundary the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission in partnership with Highland Sewer and Water Authority has opened a 345 acre Beaverdale Lake under special regulation (electric motor only) boating is provided along Route 896. | ||
